Job summary

Peltier Subaru in Tyler, Texas is hiring a dependable Used Car Technician to inspect, service, and repair pre-owned vehicles for safe, reliable driving experiences.

You will perform thorough inspections, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, complete repairs, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while following dealer and manufacturer safety procedures. ASE certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as automotive technician or mechanical role.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Dependable, organized and detail-oriented.
• Proficient in operating automotive tools and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections on pre-owned vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and safety concerns.
• Complete repairs and maintenance to prepare vehicles for the lot.
• Perform oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, fluid services, battery replacements, and other general automotive repairs.
• Identify additional repairs or maintenance needed during inspections.
• Work efficiently to help maintain a quick turnaround time on used vehicle inventory.
• Document inspections, repairs, and recommended work accurately.
• Communicate with management regarding vehicle condition and repair needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow dealership and manufacturer safety procedures.
• Help ensure every pre-owned vehicle meets Peltier Subaru’s standards before being offered to customers.

Peltier Subaru is looking for a dependable and experiencedUsed Car Technicianto join our team! This position plays an important role in making sure our pre-owned vehicles are inspected, serviced, repaired, and ready to provide our customers with a safe and reliable driving experience.

Job Responsibilities
