Job summary

South Dayton Toyota is seeking Experienced Used Car Technicians to join our busy reconditioning department. You will diagnose and repair a variety of makes and models right the first time, with pride in skilled, independent workmanship.

We offer competitive pay ($22–$35 per flat-rate hour), sign-on bonuses up to $10,000, paid ASE training, four 10-hour shifts or a traditional five-day week, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your career and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Solid knowledge of automotive systems, equipment, and tools.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose used vehicles for mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform maintenance and repair work.
• Replace faulty or worn components.
• Ensure vehicles meet safety and quality standards.
• Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and proper operation.
• Accurately document all work performed.
• Communicate repair findings and recommendations to service advisors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

South Dayton Toyota is looking for Experienced Used Car Technicians to join our busy reconditioning department and provide quality service, with the ability to diagnose and repair different makes and models right the first time. We value skilled, independent technicians who take pride in their work and don’t need unnecessary oversight—and we want you on our team.

Compensation:

• $22–$35 per flat-rate hour based on skill set, experience, and qualifications
• Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus | Eligibility based on ASE certification level accreditation and/or proven manufacturer training and certification levels
• Eligible sign-on bonus payments begin after 90 days of employment
• Sign-on bonus is paid at $1,000 per month until the eligible bonus amount is reached
