Job summary

North Park Toyota of San Antonio is seeking a Service Technician to perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles, following dealership standards. You will diagnose and repair various systems, conduct test drives, and communicate estimates to the service advisor.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to learn new technology and repair procedures.
• Dexterity and steady hand for precise work.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, steering, brakes, A/C, etc.).
• Communicate with the Used Car Service Advisor about additional service needs and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test‑drive vehicles, test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Used Car Service Advisor to inform of additional service needs and provide estimates of time required for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

B Level Qualifications, Including Diagnostic, Electrical And Engine Repair

• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand‑eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
• Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willing to submit to pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
