Job summary

Luther Automotive Group in Saint Paul, MN is seeking an automotive technician to perform repair work on the factory repair orders, test-drive vehicles, and diagnose systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment.

You will communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional needed work and provide accurate time estimates; the position offers competitive hourly pay and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are ideal.
• Strong automotive background.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Willing to submit to a background check.
• Must have clean & valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers if any additional service is needed and provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.

• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs

$28 to $60/hour (Incentive Based)
