Job summary

Midlands Toyota, part of Hudson Automotive Group, is seeking a Used Car Technician to join a high-volume service team. The role offers strong earning potential with production bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.

Safe, climate-controlled shop and ongoing Toyota training are provided, along with paid ASE testing opportunities. Candidates should have 2-5 years of diagnostic/repair experience, the ability to work efficiently on repair orders, and strong communication with the service

Qualifications

• 2-5 years automotive diagnostic/repair experience required.
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Communicate with the service advisor to inform customers of needed further service.
• Complete repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Be familiar with safety regulations and pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
• Test-drive vehicles and verify repair quality.
• Submit accurate time estimates and document work performed on repair orders.
• Keep shop area clean and maintain tools and manuals.

Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.Document all work performed on the repair order.Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs as assigned by service manager.Keep abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.Ensure that customers' cars are kept clean. Notifies service advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.Keep shop area neat and clean.Maintain and be accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals.
