Qualifications

• Previous experience as a service technician
• Strong automotive background
• Manufacture ASE certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and test components using diagnostic tools
• Maintain clean, organized shop and communicate with parts department
• Inspect fluid levels and replace or replenish as needed; perform multi-point inspections on used vehicles
• Provide estimates of time for additional repairs and keep customers informed

Here Is What You Will Be Doing

• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Keep shop area neat and clean.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replace or replenish as necessary.
• Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Check tire pressure and add air if needed.
• Perform multi-point inspections on pre-owned vehicles.
• Recondition as per used car managers authorization.
• Maintain accountability for all dealership-owned tools and manuals.
• Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil; replace oil and air filters.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.

Here Is What You Will Need

• Previous experience as a service technician required
• Strong automotive background
• Manufacture ASE certifications preferred
• Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre‑employment drug test.
• Valid driver's license
