Job summary

Christopher’s Dodge Ram Inc. in Golden, Colorado is seeking a skilled automotive service technician for full-time employment. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of vehicles using standard tools and diagnostic equipment.

ASE certification is desirable, dealership experience preferred, and you will participate in in-house training. Our benefits include health, dental and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, disability and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Experience as service technician in a dealership setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, battery installations, and headlight/taillight installations.
• Conduct diagnostic procedures, including extensive inventory to determine sources of customer problems and provide accurate repair recommendations.
• Manage paperwork and maintain legible and accurate records for customers and the dealership.
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure a clean, safe work environment to protect equipment and promote workplace safety.

Requirements

• ASE certification from a trade or technical school in automotive or engineering is desirable.
• Service technician experience, preferably at a dealership.
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment – a must.
• Willingness to participate in in‑house training.
• Ability to operate all auto repair tools.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
