Job summary

Christopher's Dodge Ram in Golden, CO is hiring an Entry Level Automotive Technician for a full-time, on-site role. You will repair vehicles and perform routine maintenance for our loyal customers, working in a local, family-owned dealership.

Responsibilities include oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, battery and lighting installations, plus diagnostics. Maintain legible paperwork and a clean, safe work area; ASE certification is desirable and in-house training is offered.

Qualifications

• ASE certification from a trade or technical school desirable.
• Experience as Service Technician or enrollment/graduation from trade school.
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment required.
• Willingness to participate in in-house training.
• Ability to operate all automotive repair tools.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.

We are a local and family-owned dealership not a huge corporation. You, as an individual, will count when working with us. We have an immediate opening at Christopher's Dodge Ram for anEntry Level Technician. This person will be accountable for repairing vehicles and their ongoing maintenance for our loyal customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenanceTasks include oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, battery installations, and headlight/taillight installations.
• Conduct diagnostic procedures Includes extensive diagnostic inventory to determine the sources of customer's problems and provide accurate repair recommendations.
• Manage paperwork Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and our records.
• Maintain cleanliness Ensure the work environment is clean and safe to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.

Requirements

• An ASE certification from a trade or technical school in automotive or engineering is desirable for this position.
• Service Technician experience or trade school enrollment/graduation
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment a must
• Willingness to participate in in-house training
• Ability to operate all auto repair tools
• Excellent listening and communication skills
