Job summary

Purdy Mazda Volkswagen is seeking a skilled Used Car Automotive Technician to join our service team. You will diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles, perform thorough reconditioning, and ensure every car is ready for customers in a supportive dealership environment.

You will work closely with the used-car and service departments, document repairs clearly, and contribute to a team that values quality work and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing multiple makes and models.
• Own professional tools and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to document repairs clearly and work with teams.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles for safety, quality, and mechanical condition.
• Diagnose and repair vehicles across multiple brands.
• Perform reconditioning work efficiently and accurately.
• Conduct maintenance, brake, suspension, electrical, and drivability tasks.
• Clearly document recommended repairs and communicate with the service team.

Purdy Mazda Volkswagen is looking for a skilled and dependable Used Car Technician to join our service team. If you take pride in your work, enjoy diagnosing a variety of vehicles, and want to be part of a supportive dealership environment, we'd like to meet you.

What You'll Do

• Inspect used vehicles for safety, quality, and mechanical condition
• Diagnose and repair multiple makes and models
• Complete reconditioning work efficiently and accurately
• Perform maintenance, brake, suspension, electrical, and drivability repairs
• Clearly document recommended repairs
• Work closely with the used-car and service departments
• Help ensure every vehicle is ready for our customers

What We're Looking For

• Previous automotive technician experience
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Ability to work on multiple vehicle brands
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Your own professional tools
• Dependable, positive, and team-oriented attitude
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required
