Job summary

Purdy Mazda of Bryan College Station is seeking self-motivated individuals to join as Service Technicians. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to support safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction in a team-focused shop environment.

Responsibilities include inspections, oil changes, tire rotations, brake services, and documenting work while adhering to manufacturer guidelines and dealership standards. A valid license and driving record are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous automotive maintenance, technical training, or related experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns using appropriate tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems.
• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance services in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and dealership standards.
• Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently while documenting findings, recommendations, and completed work.
• Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, brake services, fluid checks, and other assigned repairs.
• Conduct quality checks to help ensure repairs are completed safely and properly.
• Maintain productivity and efficiency standards established by dealership leadership.
• Communicate repair needs, parts requirements, and repair updates with Service Advisors and service department personnel.
• Assist other technicians and team members as needed to support operational success and customer satisfaction.
