Job summary

Davis Ford in Wayne, NE is seeking a Used Car Technician to prep our used inventory and ensure road readiness. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles, perform safety inspections, and communicate status to the sales team.

Ford factory training is available and growth opportunities exist within a family-owned, local shop. We offer steady full-time work with compensation ranging from $25 to $35 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Automotive tech experience required.
• Valid driver's license and clean record.
• Preference for candidates with their own tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting, reconditioning, and repairing used vehicles before they hit the lot.
• Diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic issues.
• Running safety inspections and ensuring vehicles meet our standards.
• Keeping the service and sales teams updated on vehicle status.
• Electronic Multipoint Inspections.

We are growing and looking to add to the team. Davis Ford is looking for a Used Car Technician to help get our used inventory road-ready and looking sharp.

What you'll be doing:

• Inspecting, reconditioning, and repairing used vehicles before they hit the lot
• Diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic issues
• Running safety inspections and making sure every vehicle meets our standards
• Keeping the service and sales teams in the loop on vehicle status
• Electronic Multipoint Inspections
