Job summary

M&L Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Lexington, NC is seeking a Used-Car Reconditioning Technician to join our growing team. You will recondition pre-owned vehicles, perform light maintenance and inspections, and communicate status with the service team to ensure timely readiness.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a used car technician.
• Experience working in a high-volume dealership.
• Strong communication and computer skills.
• Excellent team-player.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for reconditioning the dealership’s pre-owned vehicles, including performing light-duty technical and maintenance repairs
• Perform general maintenance and thorough vehicle inspections
• Communicate with service team on vehicle status
• Follow all established safety rules
• Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)
• Other duties as assigned
