Job summary

M&L Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking an experienced auto technician to join our service team. You will perform repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles to dealership standards.

The role emphasizes accurate communications with the Service Advisor, efficiency, and customer service. A minimum of 2 years' experience and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Learns quickly and communicates well.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with Service Advisor regarding additional repairs and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning
• Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
