Lithia & Driveway's L0840 Subaru of Decatur is seeking an experienced Used Car Recon Technician to inspect, diagnose, and recondition a variety of pre-owned vehicles on-site. You will ensure vehicles meet quality standards and manufacturer specifications before they are made available for sale.

The role requires 2+ years in automotive tech, ability to work across makes and models, and a focus on safety and efficiency. Full-time schedule supporting dealership operations and customer demand.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive technician experience required.
• Experience with used vehicle inspections and reconditioning.
• Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of makes/models.
• ASE certifications are ideal but not required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on used vehicles.
• Complete reconditioning to meet quality standards.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, suspension, steering, brakes, and drivability issues.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and identify extra repair opportunities.
• Document repair orders and recommendations; maintain productivity and safety.
