Audi Pacific, in Torrance, CA, seeks an experienced Used Car Manager to lead the strategy and execution of the pre-owned inventory program. You’ll own acquisition, pricing, merchandising, reconditioning, and inventory turn to maximize profitability.

You’ll leverage vAuto and CDK, shape aging and pricing strategies, and drive market competitiveness with strong leadership and data-driven decisions. This role offers a high-velocity, results-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Used Car Manager experience in the automotive industry.
• 3+ years of hands-on vAuto experience.
• 1 year of CDK experience.
• Valid California Vehicle Salesperson License.

Responsibilities

Audi Pacific is seeking an experienced Used Car Manager to lead the strategy and execution of our pre-owned inventory operation. This role will oversee acquisition, pricing, merchandising, reconditioning, and inventory turn while driving profitability and market competitiveness.

Responsibilities

The Used Car Manager is responsible for overseeing the acquisition and management of the dealership’s used vehicle inventory. This role requires advanced knowledge of vAuto, CDK, inventory control, and reconditioning processes, along with a proven track record as a successful Used Car Manager.

• Utilize vAuto daily to price to market, drive inventory turn, and maximize profitability.
• Control reconditioning flow to ensure timely frontline readiness.
• Maintain inventory health, aging strategy, and acquisition balance.
• Oversee vehicle appraisals and acquisition decisions based on market data and trends.
• Lead department execution to meet dealership and group performance goals.
• Leverage auction platforms and market tools to optimize purchasing decisions.
• Build and maintain strong industry relationships through effective negotiation.

Qualifications

• Required: At least 3 years of Used Car Manager experience in the automotive industry, including extensive experience in inventory control and reconditioning management.
  
• Required: At least 3 years of hands-on vAuto experience.
• Required: 1 year of CDK experience.
• Proven ability to manage inventory lifecycle from acquisition to retail.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• You must have or acquire a valid California Vehicle Salesperson License

Compensation

• The estimated annual earnings for this position are $120,000.00 - $200,000.00 after factoring in all forms of compensation including salary, commissions, bonuses, etc.
• Employees in this position will receive a base salary of approximately $6,000.00 per month, plus commissions and bonuses based on performance.
