Job summary

The Hertrich Family of Dealerships is actively hiring experienced Used Car Managers/Desk Managers for regional opportunities across our growing dealership network. This role focuses on inventory management, appraisals, desking, and profitability to drive growth within a 24-dealership organization.

We seek results-driven automotive leaders with dealership experience who can oversee used car operations, pricing, reconditioning, and merchandising to maximize profitability while supporting retail

Qualifications

• Dealership experience required.
• 3+ years automotive management experience.
• Used car buying/appraising experience preferred, desking a strong plus.
• Experience with CRM systems and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Manage used vehicle operations and inventory performance.
• Conduct vehicle appraisals, acquisitions, and pricing.
• Oversee reconditioning and merchandising processes.
• Structure and desk deals to maximize profitability.
• Monitor inventory turn rates and wholesale/liquidation activity.
• Support retail sales growth and dealership objectives.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and management teams.
