Job summary

Town and Country Toyota in Charlotte, NC, part of Sonic Automotive, is seeking a Used Car Buyer to drive appraisals and purchases of pre-owned vehicles. You will call, follow up with customers, schedule appointments, and use the CRM for prospecting and lead generation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Responsible for calling, following up and schedulingappointments for customers to come in andappraise and purchase their used vehicles.


• Utilize CRM for prospecting and lead generation.


• Interfacewith current used vehicle owners from appointments set and dealership service drive with the purpose of purchasing their vehicle.


• Approach,greet, and engagewith dealership customers to appraise and offer to purchase their current vehicles.


• Appraise used vehicles by asking questions, taking pictures of the vehicles, and inputting vehicle data into Sonic's automated inventory management system.


• Work with Sales Managers to build and propose an offer to seller.


• Introduces guest to sales department personnel to sell them a new vehicle after purchase of their existing vehicle.


• Review monthly goals with managementon vehicles purchased to better utilize time and plans more effectively.


• Minimum 1+ years of experience in automotive purchasing, acquisitions, and appraisals.


• Strong ability to engage with customers effectively, build rapport, and address their needs and concerns professionally.


• Excellent verbal communication skills with a persuasive and articulate demeanor over the phone.


• Ability to persistently pursue leads, maintaining a positive attitude throughout.


• Comfortable using CRM software andproductivity tools to manage leads and track progress.


• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.


• Must be authorized to work in the USA.


• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing, background check, MVR.


• Performance-based earnings range: $80,000 - $150,000+ / per year
