Napleton Volkswagen of Orlando is seeking a Used Car Buyer/Director to oversee the Used Car Department for Napleton Volkswagen of Orlando and Volkswagen of Sanford. You will manage wholesale, retail, purchasing and marketing operations in a high-volume environment.

The role requires strong leadership, market insight, and a track record of building profitable used-car programs. This is a growth-focused position with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of proven success as an Automotive Dealership Used Car Sales Manager/Buyer.
• Experience with internet and retail tools, V-Auto.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Previous high volume and producing high units per month preferred.

Responsibilities

• Purchases used vehicles online: utilizing used car sites and forecasting the needs of used vehicle inventory at the dealership.
• Understands market trends and changes to trends in geographic market.
• Provides guidance and support to dealership Sales Associates as it relates to purchasing used vehicles.
• Appraises used vehicles.
• Maintains a prospective development system of current used vehicle prospects and schedules appointments to appraise and purchase used
• Ability to hire, train and effectively lead all used car sales associates.
• Ability to handle and resolve customer issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure high standards are held for delivery of vehicles to customers.
• Ensure that sales representatives always understand and follow dealership policies.
• Excellent communication skills: ability to communicate effectively with customers; subordinates and other management.
• Properly and efficiently manages reconditioning vehicles and post photos online
