U.S. Bank is seeking a USD Interest Rate Swaps Trader in Charlotte, NC to execute client trades, provide market making, and manage risk across USD Interest Rate Swaps.

The role focuses on monetizing client flows, improving pricing tools, and maintaining a disciplined risk framework. The candidate will collaborate with Sales, Middle Office, Risk, Technology, and Treasury to support revenue growth and ensure a resilient trading platform.

Qualifications

• FINRA Series 7 and 63, and NFA Associated Persons designation required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related quantitative field.
• 5+ years trading USD Interest Rate Swaps or related derivatives.
• Deep expertise in Macro cash products, linear derivatives, and financing instruments.
• Proven record of effective risk management and regulatory engagement.
• Ability to articulate strategy, market views, and risk to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Revenue Growth & Market-Making: Execute and monetize client transactions in line with market structure and macro outlook.
• Risk Management & Infrastructure: Ensure adherence to risk limits, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with Sales to deepen client engagement and showcase trading capabilities.
