J.P. Morgan in New York seeks a Trader in the Rates Team to join our front office on the busy trading floor. You will advise and facilitate transactions with institutional clients, make markets in your range of products, and optimize internal systems.
The role requires 3+ years in trading or markets, strong Excel, PowerPoint and MS Office skills and programming experience, and the ability to manage risk and multi-task under pressure in a dynamic environment.

This role sits within the front office and will be working in a dynamic and busy trading floor environment.
As a Trader within the Rates Team, you will work with top professionals to advise and facilitate transactions with a variety of institutional clients comprising of banks, fund managers, pension funds, insurance companies and hedge funds. As an experienced hire, you’re expected to engage institutional accounts, make markets in your team’s particular range of products and optimize internal technological systems.
