Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a USD Interest Rate Swaps Trader to lead client execution, market-making, and risk management across IR swaps. The role focuses on monetizing client flows, building pricing analytics, and sustaining a scalable trading platform with disciplined risk controls.

The candidate will collaborate with Sales, Risk, and Technology while meeting regulatory requirements and contributing to revenue growth. A 5+ year track record in global markets is preferred.

Qualifications

• FINRA Series 7 and 63 required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years trading USD Interest Rate Swaps or related derivatives.
• Deep expertise in macro cash products and linear derivatives.
• Proven risk management and regulatory engagement experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monetize client transactions across voice and electronic markets.
• Improve pricing tools and analytics to monetize client flows.
• Collaborate with Sales to deepen client engagement and showcase trading capabilities.
• Maintain compliance with risk limits and governance frameworks.
• Support risk management and stress testing processes.
