Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Associate degree in a technical discipline and 6 years of relevant experience supporting maintenance, repair, overhaul, production, logistics, or related operational environments.
• In lieu of a degree, 10 years of directly related experience supporting maintenance, production, or depot operations.
• Working knowledge of technical publications, engineering documentation, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Experience supporting repair, testing, troubleshooting, or overhaul activities for aerospace, mechanical, or electrical systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with operations, engineering, logistics, and customer stakeholders.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and process compliance.

Responsibilities

• Under general direction, ensure repairs are done in accordance with applicable command media.
• Provide guidance to Depot personnel to ensure Honeywell OEM standards are maintained during repair of assets.
• Monitor assets on test cell to ensure all performance specifications are met.
• Oversee the repair/overhaul process of Honeywell secondary power assets including scheduling, planning and reporting.
• Monitor preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment and systems.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions for assembling and disassembling assets.
• Assist in troubleshooting malfunctions using specialized test and diagnostic equipment.
• Coordinate with Honeywell engineering team to gain approval of work activities outside of the established procedures.
• Take daily directions from Engineering Manager and Operations Managers to ensure the latest production requirements are being accomplished.
• Work with Depot personnel and accomplish tasks through positive influence.
• Ensure all repair shops adhere to schedule and provide resolutions/actions where needed.
• Maintain safe communication with logistics departments within KBR and the US Government depots.
• Observe and follow all safety rules and procedures to ensure a Zero Harm work environment.
• Maintain metrics critical to the project and present results to leadership and customers per the MOS.
• Other duties as assigned by Leadership to ensure program compliance.

Job Summary The Lead Engineering Technician is responsible for overseeing the repair and overhaul of Honeywell secondary power assets while ensuring all work is performed in accordance with applicable technical directives, OEM standards, and program requirements. • Prior experience working with U.S. Government depots or defense-related programs.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and effectively coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including reporting and data analysis capabilities.
