Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets member expectations.

What you'll do

• Provide Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting the company's products and services.
• Maintain merchandise presentation through stocking, setting up, cleaning, organizing displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and securing fragile items.
• Maintain the Sales Floor in the Tire and Battery Center according to company policies, handling claims and returns, zoning, organizing merchandise, and managing shrink and damages.
• Receive and stock merchandise, organize the Tire and Battery Center, follow procedures, operate equipment, and complete necessary documentation.
• Ensure safety standards by conducting safety sweeps, proper forklift operation, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Operate hardware such as cash registers, process purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges following proper procedures.
• Assist members with automotive services, including tire installation, repairs, balancing, rotating, and battery testing and installation, following company guidelines.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00, with potential additional premiums based on specific circumstances. The actual rate will meet or exceed the local minimum wage.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the auto service industry or retail is preferred.
