Job description

Position Summary...

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets the members' expectations.

What you'll do...
  1. Provide Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting the Company's products and services.
  2. Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up, cleaning, organizing displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and securing fragile or high-shrink items.
  3. Maintain the Sales Floor in accordance with Company policies by handling claims and returns properly, zoning the area, organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
  4. Receive, stock, and organize merchandise in the Tire and Battery Center following company procedures, using equipment appropriately, and completing required documentation.
  5. Ensure Facility safety by adhering to all safety standards, conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift and hazardous materials procedures, and reporting unsafe conditions.
  6. Operate hardware such as cash registers, process purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to procedures.
  7. Assist with automotive services, including driving vehicles into and out of bays, inspecting for damage, performing tire and battery services, and operating computer equipment for Member services.

We also provide educational benefits through Live Better U. The hourly wage range is $18.00 to $25.00, with potential premiums based on specific circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications...

Valid state-issued driver's license, ability to complete required training, and being 18 years or older.

Preferred Qualifications...

Experience in auto service industry or retail is preferred.
