Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets member expectations.

What you'll do

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians, while developing interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
2. Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry standards, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, seasonality, POS systems, and sales techniques.
3. Be a Techie: Use digital tools and technology to plan, drive sales, improve service, and make immediate business decisions, encouraging others to adopt new tools.
4. Be an Owner: Manage equipment, tools, supplies, and inventory; operate cash registers; process transactions; assist members; and ensure safety and compliance standards are met.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote high-quality service, develop others, and foster a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented environment. Uphold company policies and ethics, and contribute to continuous improvement.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $26.00, with potential additional premiums based on specific circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the auto service industry or retail is preferred.
