Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests; educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians; communicate effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry standards, service procedures, equipment operation, TPMS, product specs, and seasonality; utilize Point of Sale systems, phones, and selling techniques.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan sales, improve service, and increase engagement; operate handheld technology for business decisions regarding services, safety, and training; adapt to new tools and promote their use.
• Be an Owner: Communicate equipment and supply needs; manage inventory, safety, and compliance; process transactions; assist members with purchasing; resolve issues; complete documentation in accordance with company policies.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by providing high-quality service; inspire and train team members; support a respectful, supportive team environment.
• Follow company policies, ethics, and standards; implement action plans; communicate effectively; seek continuous improvement and adapt to change.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00, with potential premiums based on circumstances. The actual wage will meet or exceed local minimum wage requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

Valid state-issued driver’s license; successful completion of required training and assessments; must be 18 years or older.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in auto service industry or retail experience.
