Position Summary
As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. You will deliver more of what our members love, for less, by working collaboratively with other associates to ensure the club meets member expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians. Communicate effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Use Point of Sale systems and sales techniques effectively.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan, drive sales, improve service, and elevate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions and encourage others to do the same.
- Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies. Operate cash registers, process transactions, maintain inventory, and ensure safety and compliance standards. Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote high-quality service and products, develop and mentor others, and embody a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented style. Follow company policies and contribute to continuous improvement.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $26.00, with possible additional premiums based on specific circumstances. The actual rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the location.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Successfully complete all required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time if hired
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the auto service industry or retail experience
