Position Summary
As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. Your goal is to deliver more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets the members' expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, and resources, and mentor new technicians. Develop interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Use Point of Sale systems and sales techniques effectively.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve service, and enhance associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to services, safety, and training.
- Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies. Manage returns, special orders, and operate cash registers. Maintain inventory accuracy and safety standards. Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by valuing the members' experience and modeling high-quality service. Develop and mentor others, fostering a respectful and supportive team environment.
- Comply with Policies: Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Complete work assignments efficiently, communicate progress, and suggest improvements.
- Respect the Individual: Embrace diversity, foster a culture of belonging, and support team development. Build trusting relationships and motivate others.

Minimum Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to complete all required trainings and assessments

- Experience in auto service industry or retail
