Position Summary
As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both sales and service areas, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with team members to ensure the club meets member expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, and resources, and mentor new technicians. Communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Show proficiency with Point of Sale systems, phone, and in-person sales techniques.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan sales, improve service, and enhance engagement, utilizing handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to services, safety, and product information.
- Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies; track returns and special orders; operate cash registers; maintain inventory accuracy; ensure safety and compliance; report issues; complete documentation; assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve concerns.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote high-quality service, develop and inspire others, and foster a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented environment. Comply with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity.

The hourly wage range is $19.00 to $26.00, with potential premiums based on circumstances. The actual wage will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver's license.
- Must successfully complete all required training and assessments.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in auto service industry or retail is preferred.
