Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. Your goal is to deliver more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets the members' expectations.

What you'll do

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, and resources, and mentor new technicians. Communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills to provide safe and efficient customer service.
2. Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Use Point of Sale systems and sales techniques effectively.
3. Be a Techie: Utilize digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve service, and enhance associate engagement. Use handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to services, safety, and training.
4. Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies. Manage returns, special orders, and operate cash registers. Maintain accurate inventory, safety, and compliance standards. Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, and inspiring others. Embrace diversity, foster a supportive workplace, and develop team members.
6. Act with Integrity: Uphold high standards of ethics and compliance. Support Walmart's culture and accountability. Act humbly, honestly, and transparently.
