Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets the members' expectations.

What you'll do

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians, while developing interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
2. Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Show proficiency in POS systems, selling techniques, and digital tools to enhance sales and service quality.
3. Be a Techie: Use digital tools and handheld technology to plan, drive sales, improve service, and make immediate business decisions related to safety alerts, product information, and training.
4. Be an Owner: Manage equipment, tools, supplies, track returns, operate cash registers, process transactions, maintain inventory, ensure safety and compliance, and assist members with purchasing decisions.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by providing high-quality service, developing others, and fostering a respectful, supportive, team-oriented environment. Support training and embrace diversity.
6. Act with Integrity: Uphold high standards of ethics and compliance, support Walmart values, and promote a culture of accountability and transparency.
