Position Summary...

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department and deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do...

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests; educate other associates on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians; communicate effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality; utilize Point of Sale systems, phones, and in-person selling techniques.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve service, and engage associates; utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to services, safety, and training; adapt to new tools and encourage their use.
• Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies; track returns and special orders; operate cash registers; maintain inventory, safety, and compliance standards; report issues; complete documentation; assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve concerns.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote high-quality service and products; develop and inspire team members; understand and address roadblocks to excellent service.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, ethics, and standards of integrity.
• Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers and co-workers; prioritize tasks; communicate progress; seek improvement opportunities; learn from feedback and changes.
