Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets members' expectations.

What you'll do

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians, while developing interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
2. Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Show proficiency with Point of Sale systems, phone, and in-person selling techniques.
3. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve service, and enhance associate engagement, utilizing handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to services, safety, and product information.
4. Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies; track returns and special orders; operate cash registers; maintain inventory and safety standards; report safety hazards and issues; assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve concerns.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, and inspiring others. Support training and foster a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented environment.
