Position Summary

What you'll do

Your role will involve supporting and overseeing repairs of refrigeration and HVAC equipment within Walmart facilities, utilizing your commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, and using various tools to complete jobs.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record, able to pass MVR
• Minimum 18 years old with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart Refrigeration HVAC equipment using appropriate skills and tools
• Utilize work order systems to support store repairs and document activities
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect and diagnose issues with facilities and equipment
• Complete safety training and ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and use ladders safely

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include a Vocational/Technical HVAC/R certification and 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related fields for commercial HVAC/R and building controls, or 4 years of related experience. EPA certification for refrigerant handling is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical HVAC/R program, or a Mechanical license in the local jurisdiction.
