Position Summary

Walmart is expanding its workforce and seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our local and regional teams. If you have experience in maintenance, bring your skills to our fast-paced, welcoming environment!

What you'll do

As a Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities include executing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of Walmart stores, equipment, and fixtures. You will operate under the supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager, adhering to maintenance schedules, conducting inspections, cleaning, and repairs.

Position Requirements

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent ladder movement and working at heights
• Long periods of sitting or standing
• Ability to work in various temperatures
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; ability to pass MVR
• Vocational or technical certification and 1 year experience, or 2 years total work experience in trades such as plumbing, electrical, or related fields

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair facilities and equipment using multiple craft skills
• Utilize work order management system for repairs and documentation
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect and test facilities and equipment for issues
• Complete safety training for equipment and tools

Compensation

The hourly wage range is $19.00-$35.00, based on experience and location. Additional premiums may apply depending on work circumstances.
