Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Installs HVAC and refrigeration systems, including ductwork, control panels, and building pneumatics. Configures and calibrates low ambient systems and direct digital controls to meet operational specifications. Interprets layout plans and schematics to ensure accurate system setup and compliance with building codes. Diagnoses and resolves mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues across commercial and industrial systems. Implements preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and minimize downtimes. Maintains and repairs rack systems, walk-ins, reach‑ins, and supermarket refrigeration units. Ensures the proper operation of HVAC systems and Energy Management Systems by performing routine checks, identifying issues, and coordinating necessary maintenance or repairs under manager and training technician supervision. Uses heavy machinery. Adheres to OSHA standards and EPA 608 refrigerant handling protocols during all service activities. Conducts inspections and repairs in compliance with federal, state, and local HVAC/R regulations, including cold chain and indoor air quality requirements.
