Develops, communicates, and leverages a strategic vision aligned with company market and local plans and tactics to direct the management team and associates in facility operations, merchandising, and company direction.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for management and hourly associates in a facility facing issues such as high turnover, engagement challenges, inexperienced staff, and recruiting difficulties. This involves ongoing recruitment, training, mentoring, succession planning, performance evaluation, recognition, and fostering a sense of belonging across organizational levels.
Upholds the company's Open Door Policy by engaging with associates, addressing concerns, researching issues, and ensuring responsiveness and resolution across management levels. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures, proactively manages compliance issues, and maintains relationships with government officials and internal teams.
Initiates and participates in community outreach programs, representing the company in high-profile environments, building community relationships, and promoting company-sponsored initiatives and sustainability efforts.
Drives financial performance by achieving sales and profit goals, controlling expenses, and analyzing economic trends. Implements process improvements, oversees budgeting, and develops strategies to enhance profitability.
Models and enforces standards for customer service, operational excellence, and team management, especially in challenging labor environments. Ensures effective merchandise presentation, inventory management, and sales forecasting.
Supports the success of the Academy training environment by maintaining high standards, engaging trainees, and fostering a high-performance culture within the store.
Develops and implements strategies for workforce attraction and retention, supporting mentorship, talent development, and succession planning.
Cultivates a respectful and ethical workplace culture, promoting integrity, ethics, and compliance. Builds external and internal partnerships to achieve business goals and supports community involvement initiatives.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $170,000.00, with additional compensation based on performance, location, and external factors.
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of general management experience, including financial accountability, and 4 years supervising at least 50 associates, including performance management, hiring, and termination; OR 4 years of general management experience with similar supervisory responsibilities.
Additional requirements include successful completion of all job-specific trainings and assessments, and, for facilities selling firearms, completion of a firearms-specific CBC and training. For ammunition-only facilities, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, with experience as a Store Manager in low, medium, or high-complexity stores, especially in grocery operations.
