Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or related field with 2 years of software engineering experience.

• Master's degree in CS/CE is preferred, with accessibility and inclusive design knowledge a plus.

Role summary: As a Software Engineer III at Walmart, you will lead the design and development of scalable software solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams including product management and user experience. About the team: The team focuses on Solutions Engineering within the Technology Platform area, supporting product onboarding, feature requests, and AI enablement. Members collaborate closely with product management, project teams, and business partners to design and deliver scalable technical solutions. They engage in iterative development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to ensure high-quality outcomes. The team values technical expertise in data engineering and generative AI, applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills. What you'll do:

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience in data engineering and delivery within Agile environments.
• Strong proficiency using languages such as Java, Python, or SQL.
• Familiarity data engineering tools and concepts such as Kafka, Spark, Flink, and data lakes.
• Ability to use AI to automate or accelerate workloads.
• Expertise in debugging, root cause analysis, and defect management to ensure high-quality software solutions.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and automation scripting.
• Knowledge of API design, platform development, and component services.
• Effective collaboration skills with cross-functional teams including product, project management, and user experience.

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $216,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
