Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician

Your role will support and oversee repairs within Walmart's Refrigeration HVAC equipment team, utilizing commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• EPA Type I/Type II or Universal Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass MVR
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair Walmart Refrigeration HVAC equipment using appropriate skills and tools
• Utilize work order management system to support store repairs and document activities
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues
• Complete required safety training for equipment and tool operation
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations following Walmart safety and environmental policies
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and use ladders frequently
