$26.00/hr - $51.00/hr

Position Summary

Walmart is expanding its workforce and recruiting a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. This role involves supporting and overseeing repairs of refrigeration and HVAC equipment within Walmart facilities using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to pass MVR
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

• Maintain and repair Walmart's refrigeration and HVAC equipment
• Use work order management system to support store repairs and document activities
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues
• Complete safety training for equipment and tools
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and use ladders as needed

Additional Information

The hourly wage range is $26.00-$51.00, with potential premiums based on specific circumstances. Minimum qualifications include 8-10 years of HVAC/refrigeration experience and EPA certification. Preferred qualifications include completing a 2-year HVAC program, excellent driving record, and experience with Glycol and C02 systems.
