As a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician at our local retail store, your role will support and oversee repairs within the Walmart facilities' Refrigeration and HVAC equipment team, utilizing your commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Duties:

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration and HVAC equipment and assets using your skills and various tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart's safety policies and environmental guidelines.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and work at heights frequently.

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation packages are based on experience, skill set, and qualifications, including eligibility for bonuses. Benefits include health plans, 401(k), stock purchase plan, paid leave, Walmart discount, work vehicle and tools, educational programs, and more. The hourly wage range is $31.00-$61.00, with additional premiums possible depending on circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications:

Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications.

• Option 1: 10 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration.
• Option 2: 8 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration and an AAS in A/C and Refrigeration.

EPA Certification required, with preferred qualifications including completion of a 2-year HVAC/R program, experience with Glycol and CO2 systems, and a clean driving record.
