GSM Industrial, a regional leader since 1983 in industrial fabrication, installation, and mechanical contracting, is seeking Field Industrial Technicians to support our Field Operations. Our typical Field Industrial Technicians earn between $20 and $30 per hour, with eligibility for overtime and shift differentials, offering an opportunity to earn up to $100,000 per year.

Field Industrial Technicians travel to jobsites to perform various installation tasks related to industrial mechanical contracting projects. Tasks may include welding, rigging, millwright, painting, and more, often requiring working from ladders, high reaches, and under challenging conditions. Responsibilities include operating: material handling equipment, motorized vehicles, welding equipment, fabrication machinery, and power tools, working at heights over four feet, and in confined spaces, as per OSHA standards. Our core competency involves safely processing steel: structures, weldments, piping systems, pressure vessels, and sheet metal components of various shapes and sizes.
