Position Summary

Our team develops Bluetooth software and hardware abstraction layers for our TV OS platform. We focus on next-generation OS HAL platforms for future TVs, leveraging modern C/C++ development tools. We value problem solving, collaboration, and continuous learning. We are seeking a highly skilled C++ Developer experienced in embedded Linux platforms to contribute to UI engine development and optimization. This position is an individual contributor based in Dallas, TX, working in-office five days a week.

What you'll do

1. Architect, supervise, and develop TV OS software for next-generation platforms.
2. Oversee the abstraction layer between hardware and applications for seamless integration.
3. Manage hardware automation testing for performance reliability.
4. Develop and port OS features for smart TVs, including Bluetooth audio and peripherals.
5. Lead sustenance engineering efforts for existing Linux-based OS, focusing on improvements, bug fixes, and new features.

What you'll bring

• 8+ years of experience with C/C++, Linux/Unix, and Bluetooth stack.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and familiarity with C++ best practices.
• Expertise in Linux system-level programming, multithreaded programming, IPC, and debugging.
• Experience with audio codecs (e.g., SBC, LC3), ALSA, and PipeWire.
• Bonus: AOSP, driver development, real-time media pipeline knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications
