Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver more of what our members love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience. Utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, encouraging others to adopt these tools.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean work area, and ensuring quality standards. Assist members with purchasing decisions, proper packaging, labeling, and storage of merchandise.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, and executing duties at the highest level. Assist in training and mentoring other associates, and recognize contributions and accomplishments.
- Compliance & Collaboration: Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Complete work assignments efficiently, communicate progress, and seek continuous improvement.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00, with potential additional premiums based on specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
