Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of different meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping), ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Use handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, and encourage others to adopt these tools.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, plan for profitability, maintain a clean work area, ensure quality standards, eliminate waste, secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise, assist members with purchasing, and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing members' experience, modeling high-quality service and products, interacting with associates to understand and address roadblocks, and training them on job duties.
- Compliance and Collaboration: Follow company policies, procedures, and ethics. Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources. Collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners, prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and seek continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications
- At least 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in meat processing areas is preferred, but not required.
