As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management.
Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and increase associate engagement. Use handheld technology for making immediate business decisions, training, and ensuring product quality.
Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean work area, and ensuring merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored. Assist members with purchasing decisions and manage high-shrink merchandise.
Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club, valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, and assisting in training and mentoring associates.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers and coworkers, prioritizing tasks, and communicating progress.
