Position Summary

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively; develop interpersonal skills for customer service; be flexible to business needs; track goods; maintain in-stock levels; control shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations; process meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping); ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation; operate and sanitize equipment.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and boost associate engagement; utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions; adapt to new tools and encourage their use.
• Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, plan for profitability, maintain work areas, ensure product quality, eliminate waste, secure fragile merchandise, assist members with purchasing, and ensure proper packaging and labeling.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing member experience and modeling high-quality service; interact with associates to understand challenges and assist in training.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards; implement action plans; use the Open Door Policy; execute business practices accordingly.
• Complete work assignments by utilizing policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, and partners; prioritize tasks; communicate progress; identify improvement opportunities; adapt to changes and feedback.
