Position Summary...
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do...
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and enhance associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, while encouraging others to adopt new tools.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean work area, ensuring product quality, eliminating waste, and assisting members with purchasing decisions.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club, model high-quality service, interact with associates to understand challenges, and assist in training them for their roles.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and other partners, prioritizing tasks, and communicating progress. Seek opportunities for improvement and adapt to change.

We offer competitive pay, performance bonuses, and benefits including health coverage, 401(k), paid time off, education benefits, and more. The hourly wage range is $18.00 to $25.00, with additional premiums possible under specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications...
Six months of experience working in a fresh production department. Must be 18 years or older. Ability to complete required training and assessments within a specified time frame.
