What you'll do...
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of different meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping), ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, adapting to new tools and encouraging others to use them.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, plan for profitability, maintain a work area according to company policies, and ensure quality standards for high-volume meat products. Eliminate waste, secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise, assist members with purchasing decisions, and ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing members' experience, modeling high-quality service and products, interacting with associates to understand roadblocks, and assisting in training them for their duties.
- Compliance and Work Execution: Follow company policies, procedures, and ethics standards. Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with team members, communicating progress, and seeking continuous improvement.
