Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, such as cutting, slicing, grinding, and wrapping, while ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and increase associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, and encourage others to adopt new tools.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, plan for profitability, and maintain a clean and organized work area. Ensure quality standards for high-volume meat products, eliminate waste, secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise, assist members with purchasing decisions, and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service and products, and executing tasks at the highest level. Assist in training and mentoring other associates, and recognize contributions and accomplishments.
- Compliance and Collaboration: Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners, prioritizing tasks, and communicating progress. Seek continuous improvement and adapt to change.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $26.00, with actual pay depending on location and applicable premiums.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
